Some of you may not know that Darcy Peterson has been in the hospital with a high white blood cell count. This is her latest update:
Just saw the Dr and positive news.WBC is going down and I’ll continue a med for that until back to a lower number. I do have CML. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Which is a good one have. Treatment is with a targeted therapy (pill form) that I’ll be on for three years. Possible remission in 3-6 months. Praising God for this good news! Pray that I get to go home today (sound very possible) and that I can tolerate the meds. -
