For those assisting, here’s a sample of the timeline. Lannette’s infusions appointments are scheduled for 9:30 AM daily until February 19.

8:15-8:20 AM: Arrive at Lannette’s in Arlington and pull up as close as possible. Her port access is located in her upper, inside right arm. Ensure you have enough time to safely transfer her into your vehicle.

8:45 AM: Depart Arlington.

9:15 AM: Arrive at Brookings Hospital Emergency Department. Pull up to the loading zone, enter the building, and obtain a wheelchair just inside the sliding door. Use this wheelchair to bring her in.

NOTE: There’s a bad lip at the entry of the loading zone. Be cautious not to tip the wheelchair.

Check in at the desk, which is the first door to the right as you enter the building.

9:30 AM: Appointment (plan for approximately 90 minutes, and you’re allowed to sit with her.)

Feel free to get any type of dessert- homemade or store bought. If you choose, you can give receipt to Mandy and PCC will reimburse you for the cost of ingredients.
